What is a hair transplant?
A hair transplant is a procedure where our experts remove the hair follicles (Follicular Unit Extraction – FUE) from a donor area of your body or scalp and re-implant these to the balding area.
The patient usually takes pain medications before having a local nerve blockage (Local Anesthesia) in the scalp, which is then opened to harvest grafts from other areas of the body. The harvested grafts are then transplanted back into the head, after which they will start growing naturally and will eventually fill up the balding spot.
Another advantage of undergoing a hair transplant is that it can also help people who suffer from alopecia (hair loss). It will restore the natural texture and color to their heads by using different techniques like FUE or FUT technique.
With our hair transplant service, you can:

If you have thinning or balding areas on your scalp, this can be corrected by a hair transplant. The treatment consists of several steps that need to be completed to achieve the desired results.
For A Hair Transplant
1.
Step
Consultation with an expert
Our experts will examine your head, hair loss, the current condition of the scalp, balding issues, mark the area for transplants, and more. Then, based on all this data, they will prescribe you the necessary hair transplant treatment.
2.
Step
The treatment.
First, the surgeon will make an incision at the back of your head, starting from the nape down to the mid-scalp region and moving toward the front part of your head. This is called a “harvesting site,” which usually takes about 2 hours for 1 cm wide strip removal. Then it needs to be cleaned and prepared for surgery using hygienic techniques.
3.
Step
Transplant Grafting
The next step is placing grafts that are cut very carefully using sharp scissors or razor blade-like instruments and placing them under the microscope in incorrect positions on the donor area to take root within a few days or weeks, depending upon their thickness (1/4 inch – 1/2 inch).
4.
Step
Results & Recovery
Once transplanted, new hair will start growing within 4-6 weeks due to the blood supply system inside the grafts. The final step involves the patient’s post-operative care instructions, including medication regimes followed after each day and week till new hair starts growing normally again after three months.
